Thrifting at Goodwill last night I found some nice zippers and Halo Covered Buttons, which I've found before and really love them. Never seen these in stores. The pink invisible zipper was dated 1973.
This apron was made by my Memaw Holt for me when I was about 6 years old. I remember it was for Easter so we wouldn't get our outfits dirty. She also made one for my sister. As you can see she embroidered a "B". It's all completely handmade. She never had a sewing machine, but made many clothes and quilted by hand. I took in out and decided to wash and iron it. It had stains on it. Some wouldn't come out. I also noticed some mildew on it.
