Layla wouldn't smile because she didn't find the prize egg, but this was the best picture of her dress. She chose the frogs from Joann's and I used Simplicity 2464. Wish I had gotten a picture of the back. It has elastic and a keyhole opening.
I had bought this fabric and pattern at a thrift store last year (the nine buttons were included) and Ruby really liked it. The pattern was Simplicity 7534.

so sweet, I remember all the stuff my mom made for me as a little girl. I was so proud to wear handmade. Good memories! I am itching to do some sewing!
