Rugby sewing machine

Lori's father-in-law gave me this Rugby sewing machine. It was originally a treadle machine and a motor was added. The machine itself works, but no shuttle (bobbin). I guess there will be no sewing on it. The 2 drawers on the right are missing. I've looked on the internet and haven't be able to find much on a Rugby machine.

I don't know if it was the same, or just looked similar, but my grandma used to have a machine, in a fragile case, that belonged to her mother! It was beautiful! I was supposed to get it, but I don't even know what happened to it now. Great find, Brenda!

I bought this exact cabinet yesterday! I, too, am looking for history, with no success!

I know its 2020 and I'm not sure if you are still blogging but in case you are I have the exact Rugby sewing machine th as that you acquired in 2010...mine was my grandma's and I learned to sew on it 70 years ago. It is fully functional except I am missing one drawer. Would you consider selling one or both of the drawers? If so please email me...thanks
