I just made this cute little bag from sew a straight line blog. She has a great tutorial with the pattern and detailed instructions. Very easy to make. I used some vintage sheet scraps and added a little vintage lace. It's great for a cell phone and small wallet. Just the necessities.

New dress from ICandy Handmade
Ever since I saw this dress on pinterest I just had to make it. It's from ICandy Handmade. She has complete pattern and instructions, which was very easy. Cut out and sewn in about 2 hours. I'm not photogenic, but I did want to show in on. I love the way it fits. The fabric was free. I added edging from a sheet to the bottom. She made a slip with lace to wear with her outfit.

Flying Geese Quilt
I have been working on this for a while. It's for my sister-in -law. I adore the blue and white flying geese. Seems like it took forever to quilt. It's a queen size that was already pieced, I just quilted it for her.

The inside is lined with some upcycled fabric.
I purchased these bags already made and added ruffles, bows, buttons and lined them both. They are for sale in my shop.Monday, April 1, 2013
Ruby and Layla Pillows
I had bought Simplicity pattern 1929 a few months ago. Mainly because it had Layla's name on a pillow with an owl. She loves owls When she saw it she loved the idea of her name being on the pattern and wanted me to make one with a frog.
Ruby wanted the caterpillar on the pillow. I wasn't very happy when I opened the pattern and the alphabet wasn't in there. Oh well, I did my best and they loved them. They were surprised when they came back from vacation and saw them on their bed.
