I don't buy from an antique store unless I really love the item and it has a discount. This little beauty had both. Final cost was $30. It's in perfect condition and looks at all the goodies inside. I love it sitting by my sofa.

Gown from pillowcases and sheet
Layla's little gown is made from 2 knit pillowcases (cut the front from 1 and the back from the other. Had just enough to make the sleeves. Ruby's is made from a sheet. She wanted shorts with her gown. They are definitely cute enough to wear anywhere. I used Butterick 4910 and it was so easy. I had 2 gowns cut and made in an hour.

Thrifted China.
I found 2 of these china tea cup and saucers. Not a great picture of the sugar bowl, but it looked really old and I couldn't pass it up.
I just love the little cracks in the bowl.
I know this tea pot is straight from the late 60's or early 70's. Love the sunflowers.

They are moved in
They have been staying in the house since last Sunday and today got everything finally moved. That was a chore in itself. She has lots of stuff. The girls room and Jakob's room is decorated, but the rest may take a while.
My brother is a genius. He built every little bit of the stairs and all of the cabinets in the kitchen and bath. The upstairs area is a family room. I bought the pan rack for her birthday in December. It was handmade from scrap metal. I will show more pictures when she has it decorated.
