Grandmother's Flower Garden finished

I'm so happy the way this turned out. I had bought the quilt top at a yard sale last summer. It was all hand pieced by a lady that was in a nursing home. I took it to the Stitchers Garden Quilt Shop and the lady there thought a lot of the fabrics were from the 30's and 40's. We matched up a vintage 1930's fabric for backing, then I hand quilted around the flowers.

  1. I love it! What a great find! The backing you choose is perfect for the quilt top! How long did it take you to quilt it? This is the quilt pattern I have on my bed. It's beautiful!
